I ordered the pastrami combo and it was $22 which is totally insane but I have enjoyed almost everything else from farmer boys so I decided to give them a chance and see just how much better they do pastrami than The Hat. I was sadly mistaken. It was terrible. It was small. It had so much stringy, tough fat that I pulled out and discarded a third of it. I would give farmer boys a 5 star review for their other foods, but this is such a rip off I can't go higher than 3 for a company that charges that much for a terrible item. The bread was great though.
Always has burgers that are a step up from normal. Now, post-inflation (prices everywhere are already through the roof), they have a "Box" deal combo for $9.99 that is a bacon cheeseburger with fries and drink. Just discovered that. I'll be going there more often now, as long as that lasts. I happened to go there because the nearby Del Taco was not open for dine-in yet (even though they're all listed as open 24 hours because of their drive-in), and I wanted to sit down and eat somewhere.
With Soup Plantation and other salad buffets closed, if you just want a luscious salad, you have to hunt around. Look no more! Farmer Boys has three wonderful salads.
Great service from the cashier Wait time: About 4 minutes Good presentation, since you dine in… they bring it to you. Everything is fresh and made to order. A Double Bacon Cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles, diced onions and sauce. French fries come nice and hot. They got Pepsi products here and it’s Self-Serve. I went with a Dr. Pepper. Dining room was not busy. Plenty of seating room. Both Booths, Tables and some seats outside. They have condiments on the tables, so make sure you got what you need to eat (ketchup, salt, hot sauce, etc.) They have a good breakfast platter on the menu. I will need to come back. Restaurant was clean. Dining Room needed just a light sweep. Bathrooms were clean… just some toilet paper on the floor cause some customers can’t clean up after themselves. Parking lot was clean. Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Will come back
Just what you would expect from a breakfast cafe "pay-up-front" style except with very friendly and attentive staff such as Rosa. The few breakfast options makes it easy and simple to order. The food came out well presentable. Although I do wish one of the platter could have had wider variety of fruit. The hash browns came a bit geasier than expected. Free refills on coffee is a plus. Unfortunately they could not serve orange juice as they mentioned they ran out. On the weekday morning there was plenty of space to sit both indoors and outdoors. Restrooms were very clean. I also noticed a drive-thru service that seemed to be what most patrons prefer as the line of few cars indicated.
